Whether it’s a sign, brochure, web site or t-shirt, Creative Edge Signs & Graphics prides itself in taking time to dig deep and learn about our customer’s world, so we can create materials as effective as possible. Owner Suzanne Wright offers a uniquely broad background in graphic design, marketing, sign making, printing and web design—well-rounded multi-level experience that gives her a unique understanding of the way all marketing pieces work together. Suzanne has used this experience to help organizations of all sizes across the nation build visual identities that successfully promote their wares.
Creative Edge Graphic Design was born in 1999 in Eagle River, Alaska, as a logo and print design agency. Suzanne worked as a designer for Action Sign & Graphics in Anchorage at the same time. When she returned home to Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2001, she purchased more equipment and expanded the business to include signs, banners and vehicle graphics.
In 2006, Suzanne married Brad Wright and moved with him to his hometown of Weeping Water, where they now live and operate Creative Edge Signs & Graphics. Brad has become a sign installation pro, and he helps with production when he’s not driving a truck for Jerico Services. Brad and Suzanne share their home with daughters Treva and Kinlee, as well as Johnny "the Sign Cat" Knoxville, and Casey, a spunky springer spaniel, not to mention about 13 deer, a coyote and a few wild turkeys.
In high school, Suzanne took every art and photography class possible. One cold January day, she went to a World of Wheels car show in Lincoln with her dad. “I watched in awe as sign veteran Chuck Foley hand-lettered a race car,” she remembers. “I thought, ‘Cool! I want to do that someday.’”
At her high school, she learned to screen print, set up and run an offset press, and use emerging computer design technology. “I spent my high school years with ink all over my clothes and under my nails, but I loved it. A week after graduation, a local printing company offered me a job.” After graduating from college, Suzanne worked in marketing for the Nebraska State Fair, a small nonprofit agency, and a large commercial sign company.

"I have spent a lot of time studying the work of a lot of great sign artists from all across the country. Some girls may dream about being on the cover of Vogue, however I dream that someday one of my signs ends up on the cover of SignCraft. "
